We're HERE

Hi everyone!
What a day - what a beautiful day.  This is the day that the Lord has made - we WILL rejoice and be glad in it.  These words resounded through my head throughout the day.  God has been with us on this journey

We were all up between 2 and 2:30am - meeting at Hans and Hilda's just before 3.  The trip to Buffalo was uneventful and before we knew it were were boarding for the first leg - to Atlanta.  With an hour to go before re-boarding, we found breakfast and then settled in for the 2 1/2 hour flight to Santo Domingo.

Our luggage was off first and without any delay we met Ezequiel. We, and all our luggage piled into two vans and we began the hour long trip through the city.  Sights and sounds greeted us.  For those who have been there before, it was a bit of a 'homecoming' - for those who have never experienced this, there was so much to see.

We settled into the Ministry Center, had a delicious dinner and went for a walk around the local neighbourhood.  Soon we will be doing devotions and debriefing and then it will be time to head for that long awaited rest so that we can get going tomorrow.  Thank you for all your prayers, small gifts and encouragements.
