Harvest Dinner - October 16, 2010

This past Saturday, we held another Harvest Dinner - this time at the beautiful facilities of White Meadows Farms.  White Meadows is a Maple Syrup Farm between the wine country area of St. Catharines and near the shorthills of Pelham.  Our meal consisted of Turkey Rolls, Beef and Pork Rolada, ceasar salad, baked potatoes with the fixings, veggies, apple and cranberry sauce and dessert.  The Fenwick HANDS Team did an amazing job organizing, preparing and setting up this dinner.  Tim Bootsma, HANDS Team Co-ordinator for Worldwide Christian Schools gave us an overview of the work of WWCS and a slideshow of where we will be going.  Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us through this dinner, through your prayers and encouragement and through your financial gifts!  We were able to add just over $5000 to our fund and all of it will go to help build a highschool in the Dominican Republic!  THANK YOU.
